Randolph Southern was well represented in the junior high county cross country championships. Jamie Pegg won a close race for the boys defeating Monroe Central’s top runner by 5 seconds. Sarah Glunt won by a considerable margin in the girls race. The girls went on to finish 2nd as a team. Haliegh Allen also finished 6th receiving a medal. Jordan Black, Gracie Minnis, and Riley Hutchens finished 14th, 17th, and 18th respectively. Sarah and Riley each ran personal record times. Gracie turned in a season best time. Helping Jamie in the boys race were Levi Kniesly in 30th and Chevie Parsons in 34th. Both of these boys ran personal record times and have cut off over ten minutes from times at the start of the season! The Rebels run their last race of the season on Saturday. They will compete at Blue River for the MEC Championship.
