Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity defeated Anderson Prep Academy 12-0 on Tuesday as two pitchers combined to throw a one hit shutout.  Quentin McDavid induced a groundout from Timothy Raper to finish off the game.  Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity got on the board in the first inning when Joseph Hosbrook grounded out, scoring one run.  Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity tallied six runs in the fourth inning.  HosbrookTyler FinkMcDavid, and Jordan Saylor powered the big inning with RBIs.  A single by Izon McConnell in the fifth inning was a positive for Anderson Prep Academy.  Saylor got the win for Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity.  He went three innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out three and walking zero.  McDavid threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Derek Dailey took the loss for Anderson Prep Academy.  He lasted three innings, allowing six hits and six runs while striking out one and walking one.  Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity scattered 12 hits in the game.  SaylorCaleb WisselHosbrook, and McDavid all managed multiple hits for Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity.  McDavidHosbrookWissel, and Saylor all had two hits to lead Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity.  Randolph Southern Rebels Varsity was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.  Carter Abshear had the most chances in the field with seven.  The rebels have now won 7 in a row and head into Sectional play on Friday at 5:00 against Tri-High.
